Are you attempting to change your display name by chance? I think that setting requires a moderator to handle it at this point in time, which I can do for you if you'd like.
This setting will be removed once all of the site work is completed, sorry about the inconvenience.

If that's not the case, however, it might be an issue on Proboard's end with profile editing.
